Meredith is a multifaceted individual, encompassing roles as a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, and two-time cancer conqueror. Her passion for Alabama football is matched only by her unwavering dedication to advocacy. Following her graduation from the Birmingham School of Law in December 2009, she has dedicated 14 years to practicing in the field of Domestic Relations and Family Law before joining Wheeles Garmon.
Meredith’s extensive experience spans a plethora of family law areas, which she brings to her work with Wheeles Garmon. Prior to her legal career, Meredith held the role of a Licensed Graduate Social Worker, holding a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Special Education, both earned from the University of Alabama.
Not only is Meredith proficient in mediation across civil law, family law, and domestic violence, but she also possesses a background in forensic interviewing of children. Her commitment extends to serving as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of many children in court cases.
Beyond her legal and social work endeavors, Meredith serves on the Board of Directors for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama and acts as an Advocacy Ambassador for the Susan G Komen Center for Public Policy. She frequently travels to Washington DC to educate members of Congress on the needs of individuals facing specific cancer diagnoses, embodying her dedication to advocacy at both local and national levels.
