Emmalyn Merrill joined Wheeles & Garmon in August of 2025 and practices both firearm product defect litigation and personal injury litigation. In her first year of practice, Emmalyn has recovered $100,000 for clients of Wheeles & Garmon.
Emmalyn is a May 2025 Faulkner University – Thomas Good Jones School of Law graduate. She passed the July 2025 UBE Bar Exam with a high enough score to transfer into every state that recognizes the UBE. Emmalyn is licensed to practice law in Alabama and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. Emmalyn is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama Bar, and the Birmingham Bar Association. Emmalyn also volunteers as a student mentor for Auburn University Students through the Harbert Connects program.
